Instructors have two options for maintaining a valid certification.:

Option 1: Instructors who teach at least four classes over a two-year period will be exempt from taking the refresher course. Instructors that meet this criteria must submit a completed Instructor Recertification Form to the MOT Administrator prior to expiration of their certification.  You can access the Recertification Form by clicking on the Recertify Instructors link.

Option 2: Instructor may take the refresher course and pass the test prior to the expiration of their certificate.  After the course is taken and the exam is passed, no further action is needed by the instructor who attended the class. The MOT Program Administrator will process the refresher class and re-certify the instructor.
